Uncharted is based on the popular video game series developed by Naughty Dog. It's currently unknown whether the villain appears in the video games or if Banderas is playing an original character. Antonio Banderas also features as what appears to be the film's main antagonist. Fan-favorite character Chloe Frazer, played by Sophia Taylor Ali, also appears The character only appears alongside Nathan Drake in Uncharted 2 and 3. Sully mentions that Nate is drawn to treasure hunting because of his brother, Sam, who was only introduced in Uncharted 4. Based on the trailer, Uncharted appears to be pulling elements from multiple games.
